This summer we are talking about PRAYER in our weekly worship services.  Check out the Daily Prayer devotion we are using for this series of sermons.  Go to the Ministries tab, then prayer ministry.  Please join us online as we turn to God in prayer.  We would love to have you visit us in person on Sunday mornings at 9:00 or 11:15.  There is also a weekly prayer gathering on Monday from 6:00 - 6:45 p.m. that meets in the Heittinger Chapel here at New Horizions.

PAPER RECYCLING

There is now a bright green and yellow ABITIBI Paper recycling bin here at New Horizions.  Please drop off your newsparpers, magazines, mail catalogs, office & school papers or folders in the bin.  NO CARDBOARD OR PHONE BOOKS, PLEASE.  Thank you for your support of this important fund-raising effort.  The environment thanks you too!
1ST SUNDAY FOOD DRIVE

Remember to bring your food items for our 1st Sunday of the month food drive. All items collected here at New Horizions are donated to our neighbor, East Lynn Christian Church for their established food bank distribution.

It is appropriate that we do this on the first Sunday of each month as we come to Christ's Table for the sacrament of Holy Communion.
ANNUAL FARMER'S MARKET

If you or someone you know would like to be a vendor in our annual FARMER'S MARKET please contact the church office.  Our Farmer's Market begins July 5 and runs through Labor Day, each Saturday morning from 8 a.m. till noon.  There is no fee for the vendors.  We invite you to take part in this opportunity to share the bounty of your harvest in this way. We are looking for venders with garden produce, plants and flowers.  If you know of anyone who has a garden or  items to sell, please have them contact Mickey Lawson through the church office.
