I grew up in Kansas City Missouri and was baptized when I was 9. In our church, my mother taught in the children’s ministry and both my parents helped in the youth group. I enjoyed church camps and youth conventions and felt called to ministry (specifically youth ministry) when I was 14.

I attended Anderson University for college (Majored in Christian Ministries and Bible & Religion, with a Writing minor) and Anderson University School of Theology for seminary (Masters of Divinity, emphasis in Pastoral Care and Counseling and Christian Education). Throughout my college and seminary years, I volunteered with a youth group. I served as children’s director at a couple of churches before coming to New Horizons in 2015.

My heart is for youth and love being able to teach and interact with them each week.

I look forward to what God has planned for the youth group and New Horizons in the future!

I grew up in a musical family. My father was the main organist at the church where I grew up and my mother earned a music performance degree from Butler University and sang in the choir.

In 2018 I began my music ministry at New Horizons.

God's grace changed my life and it is up to me to share his grace with others. Likewise, God blessed me with musical talent. I feel a responsibility, or calling, to use my talents to enable others to participate, experience, and help them offer their praise to God. Whether it be accompanying, or providing service music,

New Horizons has become "home" to me. I feel that my expertise and abilities can be an asset to the church, the music department, and the worship experience.
