Older Adult Visitation Ministry

The Older Adult Visitation Ministry at New Horizons United Methodist Church is a spiritual group of servant members who serve our shut-ins. Members served are confined or partially confined with physical or mental limitations who live in residential homes, assisted living homes or nursing homes.

Servant members of this team are matched with a person and become their link to our congregation by providing prayer for, making scheduled visits, sending greeting cards, and making phone calls to keep in touch between visits and helping out in a variety of ways that reach out to that person in Christian love.
